Seems everybody is doing a test turkey also. Here is mine. Bought this turkey and one more for .39 cents a pound and used Big Ron's Hint of Houston for the first time. Excellent rub.

Had a couple of chops that I didn't get a chance to grill when I went camping so threw them on the WSM after the turkey was done. Big Ron's Hint of Houston was used on these too.

This was an enhanced bird so all I did was clean and dry the bird then applied rub. Lit one chimney of Kingsford, dumped another chimney of unlit on top of that and 3 small chunks of apple wood. Dry water pan and vents 100% open. This turkey took about 3 hours to cook.
