Hi all,
I posted this in the thread started by Bryan (SJP airflow problem) but thought I'd start a new thread, too. I called Weber CS to order a new bottom vent and hardware for a SJ silver, but the rep needed a serial number. Since I "wasn't at home" at the time I did not have the serial number. Which one should I give when I call back? I said that I thought it was a "DH", but wasn't sure.

Thanks much,
Steve

Steve Z,

This is what I just ordered (which I hope is right):

1 One-Touch™ Cleaning System
Part Number: 303618 $9.99 $9.99
1 Ash Catcher
Part Number: 303637 $7.99 $7.99

This is to go with JD's One-Touch mod. You can order these via weber's internet site and no serial number needed.

Todd,
Thanks for the info, but that's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a replacement bottom vent and hardware for a Smokey Joe Silver and the ash catcher (if it doesn't come with it.). JD's mod looks good, too, but I'm going a different route. I'd love to hear how your mod goes, though!

Steve
