That's interesting and so well done it looks factory. The babelfish translation of the page was pretty funky when I ran it so outside of the pictures I couldn't tell what all he did, but it looks like the conversion somebody was asking about on here about a week ago.

My German is pretty rusty but...

"I modified my Weber somewhat. Now it draws perfectly and doesn't go out anymore."

Then after the pics...

"They have these plates at Ikea. I screwed one on and laid the other on top. This way everything that falls through comes out easily."

Looking at his added bottom vent, does it look like two rectangular slots with one of the SJG side vent covers over them?

Thanks Jake - I am impressed!

Thanks also for the interpretation on the bottom mod - I couldn't really make out what he had done although it was apparent that he had added some vents to the bottom. I was wondering what the vent cover was - now it makes sense.

Thanks again!

Pat

Looks like my original thoughts about the vent cover were off. In an update, the OP says that it is aluminum stock he bent to fit.
