Ever since I got this SJS, my ole 22 has seen less and less duty. I am almost feeling like I am being unfair to it in a way. LOL!
Just cooked up a couple of NY Strips to (perfection) on the SJS while the OTS was watching wistfully nearby. This little grill is great and will cook anything that fits in it. I is a true weber in its capability and is extremely efficient. I've cooked chops, chicken, and steaks. Both low and slow, and searing hot. When I finish the cook I just close the top vent, and the SJS shuts down quickly leaving you useable coals for the next time. Its been said here before and I must agree...this little grill rocks! By far the best $25 grilling accessory I have bought. Weber 22 OTS, Unknown 20" Kamado, Weber 14 SJS, Weber Smokey Mountain (future) |

Hehe...yea, I'm gonna cook one of those seasoned turkey tenderloins in the SJS tonight. I might have to drape something over the OTS's eyes to keep the peace too...
