I have a brand new Smokey Joe Gold and and an older Smokey Joe silver missing some parts ( grates).

Was wondering if there was a way to combine them to get over any side vent issues and achieve the "furnace" effect without cutting holes.

The bases and lids should interchange as should all of the grates. If you want to use the bail handle to lock on the lid, your going to have to drill holes for the bail handle.
