Just got the SJ Silver to replace a 1979 Smokey Joe with the triple vents on the bowl. Fired it up for burgers, peaches and cantaloupe. Last night I used it as an additional grill for baked potatoes and onions while using the One Touch Platinum to grill sirloin steaks. While the steaks were resting I heated up some Hawaiian rolls in the SJS.

I'm very impressed with the quality of construction and ease of use. The fire is nice and steady and easy to regulate. Wired the old SJ charcoal grate to the new grate in a crisscross pattern and used a coffee can for a lid sitter on the deck.

Glad I got this little thing--after seeing it in action my wife finally understands why I wanted "another grill" to compliment the WSM and OTP.
