Am I understanding that this grill is larger than the old smokey joe that I have, mine is probably 8yrs old or so. Also I cant find a platinum, only a gold? Anyone know where I can find one? Thanks in advance, Ken

You can order on-line from amazon.com. Go to their site from this one so this site gets the credit.

It is an excellent grill, but quite a bit larger than the old smokey joe you have.
