I've had this discussion with friends a few times, thought I'd ask if of all my Weber friends...

If you had to eat only one animal for the rest of your life, which would it be? That means, foresaking all others.

My pick would EASILY be pork. Aside from BBQ, it has so many other uses (bacon, sausages, etc...) that's not to say I wouldn't miss beef or chicken or lamb.

Smoke'em if you got'em.

This may be cheating, but I would have to go with fish. There are so many wonderful varieties with different flavors and textures.

If fish don't count, then I'll choose pork.

I was recently quoted as saying "The pig is a magical animal, kinda like a modern day Unicorn."

So it would be pork.

Have to go with pork also due to the variety of things you can do.

the exact quote from the simpsons-

Homer: Are you saying you're never going to eat any animal again? What about bacon?
Lisa: No.
Homer: Ham?
Lisa: No.
Homer: Pork chops?
Lisa: Dad, those all come from the same animal.
Homer: Heh heh heh. Ooh, yeah, right, Lisa. A wonderful, magical animal.

I'd go with beef. I gotta have my steaks, even though you can do more stuff with pork.

Add another vote for Pork from my direction.

Although I love my Ribeye's, you can just do so much more with Pork.

And I eat bacon and sausage much more than I do steaks.

Beef all the way. I can make beef bacon, beef sausage, chuck rolls for pulled beef, beef ribs and then there's those Ribeyes, can't live without them. Ham I can do without I think. Big Grin
