Any good halloween cooks out there? We bring our fire pit out front and cook dogs and sausage for the evening while giving out the treats.

3 slabs of ribs. Tough one today in 40mph gust winds, but we've been holding 250 steady for a couple hours now using wind screens.

Good on ya, Todd. Cool I wouldn't get out there in this kind of wind ... Driving over the G.I. bridges with that cross wind in a high profile truck was a blast !! LOL

See ya Tuesday.

We're smokin' hard boiled eggs for treats! Eeker
Neighbor told me not to turn away too soon as some of the local kids here have pretty good throwing arms. All I need is to be pegged in the back of the head with my eggs.
I'm thinking... Why on Earth WOULDN'T a kid LOVE a smoked egg instead of a chocolate bar?

The day is too busy with the little ones to break out the smoker. We did make a few things for Halloween, however.

How about some ear wax on a Q-tip?

We also had some fingers hanging around:

I can hear it now:

parent: "What did the Owens' give you honey?"
child: "Uh, a dirty Q-tip!"
parent: "Thats all!!"
child: "No, Mr Owens gave us the finger too!"

Cute ideas RD!
