...change the colour of the WSM?

I think Weber follows Henry Ford's thought process of..."Any customer can have a [WSM] painted any color that he wants so long as it is black."

I doubt it, but I wish they would do a limited edition color some year. We heard from a beer distributor a while back that Weber did some blue WSMs with the Corona logo on them as a promo item, so it's not impossible.

What color would you like? Blue? Forest Green? Lime Green? Copper? Don't say red, cuz that's not gonna happen.

I wish I could get one in baby blue with navy pinstripes going top to bottom and ebony handles. All chrome hardware and anodized electric blue aluminum parts. And I want my name around the thermometer in sparkling gold script.

I too wish Weber would break free of the whopping three colors it produces. Black's classic, and the green isn't so bad...but I'd like to see some more deviations from the standard trio of colors. The lime green performer they released for Crate & Barrel this years was nice. I'd love to see the copper some more. Yellow...orange. I don't care. Just throw us a bone. LOL

Never thought of Copper.... that'd be an interesting colour.
My dad had a yellow Weber kettle in the 60's, I always thought that was unique cuz nobody on the block had one like it.
But I do like my green OTG.
I like Rick's idea of wood grain.

I would buy a new WSM if it came in Crate and Barrel green.

I'd like to see one in [COLOR:RED], White and[COLOR:BLUE],with Stars and Stipes and a slew of options. Like a hinged lid, ATC, Ice chest, Bottle opener, Tunes ect....They could call it the "Patriot". I feel they would have to put on an extra shift on just to keep up with the orders. On second thought, If the did they would probably just make it avalible in Germany or Australia, but not in the U.S. Makes me wonder if they even follow any Forums to see what the consumers want?

It could make for an interesting group buy and an opportunity for you to make a bit of scratch. Pick a nice color and a good price. I couldn't imagine what would stop me from getting one.

Maybe some wheels with Sprewell's on 'em, a Gold Firebox Door, and that good red glaze that was made in the 20's with Uranium in it...

Acually - I like black. It hides the crud.

I would like to see one with a large Red Sox logo on it, or a Patriots logo. They could do a whole MLB/NFL line up.

they would sell a ton of nfl kettles !

For awhile, some time ago. There was a small kettle (like an SJS or possible a SJP) that had a lid shaped just like a helmet. The had NFL team colors and emblems. I tried to get the "Raidah" version off CL but was already gone.

Why don't some of the drug companies have custom WSM's made in the colors of their products?

69 Camaro Hugger Orange would look great.
