I make these things for parties, tailgates and other such events all the time and they are usually the first thing gone.

All the ingredients that are in these need to be finely chopped or diced or they will poke through the egg roll wrap (trust me on this I learned the hard way).

1.5 pounds of Bob Evans spicy ground sausage
3/4 cup onion
3/4 cup green pepper
1.25 cups granny smith or green apples
2 or 3 packages of egg roll wraps.

Brown your sausage real well and then drain. Combine all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl mix thoroughly and place a large spoonful onto one wrap and then roll it up as shown on the back of the package and seal the tip with a little water on your fingertip.

Place into a pan with about an inch of oil at 360 degrees. When they are golden brown on one side then flip them over till golden brown on the other then drain on paper towels and serve.

Almost forgot, if you have any left over egg roll wraps, you can fill them with your favorite pie filling and then fry 'em and dust them with powdered sugar!!
