I don't know if this has been covered here before (I didn't find it thru a search). I put anything and everything on my popcorn and it drives my wife nuts. Well last night I was looking for something different and I had some BRITU rub in the cupboard. So......I sprayed some "squirt butter" on th epopcorn and tossed with BRITU-WOW, some of the best popcorn I ever had. It almost had a kettle-cooked flavor. Hope you enjoy.

Rich...

I have done this with almost all of my rubs. Some are great, others not so good.

I use my wheat grinder to powderize the rubs...almost the consistency of talcum powder. This makes them stick better.

Dixie Dust is a rub and can be obtained on line at www.dixiedust.com. It has received some awards and is apparently very popular with some on this forum. I haven't tried it yet, but may. I was dissuaded when I saw that the shipping cost for 2 containers costing $12 was over $7. I guess that's the way it is for small companies to ship, but it made me back off at that point.
