Okay, Doug's thermo install looks so good, I just have to put one in my Q200.

I'm looking @ a 1-3/4" or 2" TelTru, but I have a dilemma: I can't decide on the temp range. The thermometer comes in 2 temp ranges that seem close: there is a 50/550 range and a 150/750 model (all in F). I lean towards the lower ranged thermometer (for finer resolution), but TelTru warns against using the thermometers above maximum dial temperature.

So, is it possible to get a Q200 over 550F?

Thanks,
Kevin H.

I agree, on the 150-750 model. Mine went to an indicated 575 easily. Under optimal conditions I'm pretty sure it'll pass 600F.
