Yesterday I did my 1st high heat turkey,
Yes the skin did turn out crispier, but I was not real happy with the turn out. The bird was OK, but not great. It was fully cooked, and had a good flavor.
Next bird I will do at a lower temp. The meat is more moist, and pinker. No one ate the skin anyway. Everyone said they liked it better when I cooked em a little slower. Well, at least I tried high temp.
Thank you all for your advice.

I did my first rotisserie turkey on the grill. I've done about everything else. The rotisserie was the best yet (in 20 some years).
