ALL:
Finally, i received all my missing parts to put 'humpy' together and was thinking on what to cook this weekend? I was thinking a flat, but i never had "pulled pork" so i was thinking some pork butt might be fun. All your thoughts are appreciated |

Definitely cook a shoulder.......they're almost impossible to mess up, they're extremely forgiving and it will give you a good amount of time to learn how the WSM works. If you want to try a short cook, try cooking some chicken pieces just to get you warmed up and ready for a longer cook like the shoulder. Larry Wolfe |

I would suggest a chuck roast. At about 3 pounds, it will take about 9 hours to cook. That's long enough to get use to your new cooker (as Larry suggests), but not so as to do an overnight.
