I'll be 35 on the 21st of this month, but I usually act like I'm still 11!

I feel my age when we get that 90 plus weather so I try not to barbecue but I will smoke my Bullet in the wee hours of the morning during those dog days.

I appear to be the lone 66 - 70 person, but that includes well over 40 years of cooking over live fires.

X2 I told my wife today to be thankful all I want is a cooker and be happy I'm not going through the crisis that causes men to buy sports cars and hit the strip. Big Grin

I just turned 54 last week, and sometimes I feel like I am 154, and sometimes I feel like I am 24. I didn't start really doing this "Q' thing until I was 44, but I sure am glad that I did. Right now I just feel like "Qing".

Crisis? I'd just call it a need to get out of the house for a little afternoon "me" time while the wife and kids are going at it. Then return to the house with dinner to calm the troops. Dad is the hero again!

41-45 is where it's at!
I wouldn't call it a midlife crisis, I've been Q-ing for 20 years, I just finally decided to get a more manageable 'pit'. Fighting a big side-firebox rig is glamorous and all, but after a while you realize how much beer drinking time you're wasting managing the fire!
