First heard of (and tasted) these monsters at a swell tavern called "Grimm's One More & I Gotta Go" in Wautoma Wisconsin September 2008. Made with grilled brat and beef patties with cheese, onions, mushrooms, peppers and pickles.
With the up-coming showdown in Green Bay this Sunday, thought I'd make these for the guys and gals coming over. So, I tested my hand at them last night for dinner. Served on Ciabatta rolls with melted Muenster and grilled Anaheim and Poblano peppers. Brat patty stacked on top of the beef patty, one bite and your taste buds are temporarily confused. http://good-times.webshots.com...89250105566169EkdIKq http://good-times.webshots.com...43990105566169lGNOpe I remember the beertender saying, "They're called Packer Burgers on Sundays and Badger Burgers on Saturdays." Smokin', Smokin' We're cookin' tonight, just keep on tokin’ WSJ (H)~ Black 22.5" One Touch Silver (EI)~ Green 22.5" One Touch Gold (DZ)~ Genesis Gold Gasser~ Mod 2009 18" WSM (DE) |

Whose brat patties are you using? I'm partial to Klement's over Johnsonville.
Flattened meat is a good choice for a Packer game, given the shape of the offensive line! Brad |

sorry Brad, those are Johnsonville.
one day not too long ago, i thought the Badgers O-line could protect Rodgers better than the pros... but i changed my way of thinking after the Iowa game.
