I threw on a rack of spare ribs on the weber kettle. I Used Hickory wood chips. Smoked for about an hr, then I foiled the ribs for about an 1 1/2, then I removed ribs from foil, and brushed on some Lucilles BBQ Sauce. They were moist, tender, some parts falling off the bone, other parts, a nice tug, just the way I like. Sorry for not pics of the little smoke ring I got on the ribs. Everybody chowed down too quickly.

Michael,

Your gonna be sorry, what were you thinking?

One slab? I'm always sorry when I do 2 or 3 slabs, but have help most of the time, so if your eatin' by yourself that would do for a meal, but you'll be wishing you put more on, so you have some/more left over.

They look good, I haven't fired up any of the Webers all weekend, but my daughter is cooking me a pulled pork omelette while I type! Big Grin

Lucky I had some of that saved from last week, bag'd in the freezer...I told her to first put it in simmering water and it should be fine in the omelette pan after that...

I feeling my own pain, no ribs left from last week...anymore... Mad

Maybe I need to make a run to the store and get some...I still have time today... Wink

Cheers,

Alan - in search of the smokin' gun that the bullet came from.

Mine end up being chef samples about halfway through the cook. Never tried them in beans, but I bet they'd be good.
