It was a long day today, had to take a road trip to pick up passports so not much time for a fancy supper. I was given a bunch of venison loin last weekend and I had made homemade pita bread yesterday so I figured why not have a couple deer sandwiches! So I fired up the Smokey Joe and had at it.
The deer loin is salted and then rubbed with Juniper berries, Onion, Garlic, Cumin, Corriander, and a Chipotle pepper. The blueberry sauce was onion, garlic, blueberries, blueberry wine, red wine, chicken stock, lemon juice and thyme. Any questions are welcome! Clark This message has been edited.
