Does anyone know the weight capacity for the Weber 7519 Rotisserie? I'm looking at purchasing one but can't seem to find how much it can handle. Hoping to use it for a large turkey!

perfect thanks. I finally got a response from Weber and they said the motor can handle 20 lbs. The spit is 2 lbs so it can handle 18 lbs of food.

one thing ya need to do. take apart the motor and check the wiring screws and lube the gears and shafts lightly with white grease. i have two motors and one had a loose wire and the other showed signs of siezing one one of the shafts. after i lubed them they seemed to work effortlessly.
