If I ever get smart enough to use a Photo Album I'll post my pics there. Until then ...

Smoke Day was another great success. We fought off scattered morning showers and had a beautiful afternoon for the party. TVWBB members Brad Olson and Sal DeTraglia showed up and made my job much easier.

Here is Brad preparing a batch of Big Bob Gibson chicken for our guests. That SS WSM cart deserves a thread of its own. Paul Hubbard built it with his daughter and loaned it (and 2 WSM's) to me for the weekend.

A shot of Weber heaven - 4 WSM's, 2 Weber kettles, and a SJP.

One of my guests posted a slew of pictures on Picasa, including my wife's pies.

I think Chris Allingham turned me onto Bacon Apple Pie with a post here last December.

JR,
How do you get the Picasa photos to link with the WSM board?

Pat,

I just copied the link that was at the top of the Picasa page for my friend's photos. Then I used the normal linking function in the 'Post A Reply' box.

Larry,

The Bacon Apple Pie recipe is here. I original saw the recipe on TVWBB.

The one thing we did differently was to precook the bacon weave in the oven. That way it was fully cooked when the pie was done.
