I'm afraid I don't have the photos, but I will post this in hopes that they get posted later by one of the other fellas.
Our first attempt at Smoke Day went off famously. Mark Powell, Justin Wilkie, and I had 2 wsm's and a grill going. We put together a spread largely from recipes found here on this site. 2 gallons of "adult" fruit punch A variety beers Armadillo eggs - three ways: Anaheim peppers, Jalepeno's, and Habeneros. BRITU ribs - 4 racks "Brined" Brisket with Spicy Chipotle sauce Alton's Pulled pork finished with Mr. Kruger's finishing sauce Roadside Chicken Potato Salad Asian Coleslaw Baked Beans (a friend brought this and I gotta get her recipe) Corn on the Cob Tres Leche cake with blackberry sauce Smoked Sour Cherry Pie and finished with shots of a lemon/lime Limoncello Oink! |
