Chris,

That kettle looks like a mini-rancher!

Nice lid setup.

Cheers,

The charcoal holders in the 27 look like they are for the 22 kettle. I hope they fabricate new larger one to fit properly.

Four points of clarification:

Kettle shown is a prototype as production has not commenced.

MSRP 299USD

Officially known in 2009 Weber sales literature as the "26.75" One-Touch Gold Charcoal Grill"

Cover will be available and sold separately

Have a great weekend everyone.

Great pics of the kettle. Looks pretty much like the same lid holder set up I have on my Master Touch. Very cool indeed. Smiler

It's going to be tough to explain to the wife why we "need" the bigger kettle and WSM when there is just the two of us. Smiler

While in True Value Hardware in Avon, CT this morning, I mentioned to a sales associate that I had heard that Weber was coming out with a larger kettle, and asked if he knew when it would be available. He stated that he hadn't heard anything about it, but that he would ask his manager. He went up the stairs to what I assume was an office, returned three or four minutes later, and stated, "all I can tell you is that Weber has not announced it to us."

Based on that rather inscrutable response from a Weber dealer, I don't know if I can expect to see a 27" kettle under my Christmas tree this year . . .

It is a tradeshow in where merchandise and travel providers exhibit. "Incentive" is a term where companies reward employee's performance or if it is media-top advertisers with merchandise or a trip for two all expenses paid etc. to wherever.
