I have made a significant change to the way in which I will be managing the Just Conversation forum.

I have moved a number of important topics to the Barbecuing forum that I wanted to keep, and have deleted all remaining topics with no posting activity in the past 60 days.

Moving forward, I will continue the policy of deleting posts that have been inactive for 60 days.

Please to use this forum exclusively for off-topic discussions--questions not related to the WSM, barbecuing, grilling, recipes, etc.--with the understanding that they have a short lifespan and will be deleted after 60 days of no posting activity.

I am no longer deleting Just Conversation forum threads that have a user rating. This will allow valuable message threads to be retained beyond the 60 day inactive cutoff. I reserve the right to occasionally review user rated threads and delete those that are extremely stale.

To keep a thread from being deleted, click "Rate It!" in the upper left corner of the first post in the thread and give it a rating of 1 to 5 checkmarks.
