If you post a message and it seems to have disappeared, it may be that I have moved it to what I think is a more appropriate forum.
There are several ways to find all your posts: 1) Click Go->Personal Zone->Profile, then click the link "View forum posts by <your name>". 2) While viewing any of your posts, click your name on the left side of the post and click "View Recent Posts by <your name>". The most common instance of moving posts has to do with the Recipe Forums. As stated at the top of each forum, these are collections of recipes only. Each thread should begin with an actual recipe, then discussion about the recipe can occur as replies to the original post. If someone posts a question about regional BBQ sauce styles in the Rubs & Sauces Recipe Forum, or a question about how to prepare brisket in the Beef Recipes Forum, I move these to the Recipe Request Forum or the Barbecuing Forum or wherever makes sense. I wish there was an easy way to inform people that I've moved a post, but there's not, so apologies in advance when this happens, and don't feel bad when I move a post. It's nothing personal, just organizational. Regards, Chris |
