Greetings Programs,

I'm fairly new to the Q (about a year or so) and I'm good and thuroughly hooked. My first smoker was two cheapo smokers stacked together with the second lid bolted to the bottom. When constantly tended it made decent Q. When I cooked on the WSM for the first time I was like "this is boring. there's nothing to do". I'm amazed at the performance. I recently build a UDS and its good for longer unattended cooks and larger volume. I also have a ProQ Frontier which I modded to included extra bottom vents but I have yet to cook on it sine those modififcations.

Welcome Mike - you will enjoy this board.

Care to explain the nickname "Computer Mike"? I'm curious.

I'm active on a couple of BBQ forums and thats the name I use there. I'm a computer geek by trade so it just kinda fits.
