Hi all,
I actually posted my first post in the "Pork Recipes" forum, but I thought I'd make my formal introduction here. I've been a lover of barbecue since the first time I had ribs as a kid. Last summer I tried making my own pulled pork for the first time, using Alton Brown's recipe and flower-pot electric smoker. It came out better than I could have hoped and I've been hooked ever since. Once I discovered this site and devoured the numerous articles on the WSM, I decided that a WSM would be a gift to myself for the next barbecuing season. Thanks for all the great info here, and on the main site! -Adam |

Not sure if I should post this here or in the barbecuing forum, but does anybody know of a good source for apple, oak, or cherry chunks in the Chicagoland area? I live in the city, but work in Barrington, so either the city or the Northwest suburbs are OK for me.
Thanks! -Adam |
