Well i think it was done ok. lots of things were tried adn then when the smoke cleared that's what we came up with.
I often view things like the smoker like the Coke bottle. it's a "trademark look" and you can't mess with that too much.
There were quite a few ideas that were tried. But in keeping with the every day (or weekend) user, you have to cll out what are real problems, wants, and desires over needs. Even if every suggestion found here was taken into account, someone or something would be left out or done wrong. So we just improved upon a few things and the rest was left to the modders.
