I like the looks of your lifter and it's pretty cool.

I have though been using a Raichlin lifter with good ressults on WSM and Performer. Using even heavier CI grates. I use an 18" CI round grate from a BGE on my WSM.

I don't get it. Is this for the bottom grate? I guess I've never had the need to move the bottom grate. What am I missing? Confused

For food grates in Performer/Kettle/any grill and for WSM top or lower food grates. But for the most part we are talking about cast iron grates not wire/standard grates that come with the WSM/Kettles
