Got a Maverick Redi Check and I am looking for some ideas of how to mount it to the side of the WSM.

Should I be concerned with heat effecting the housing on the unit? I have the remote version w/ 2 probes I believe the ET-73 model.

Any pics of your own mountings?

I just reversed the wire stand and use it as a hanger.
Hooks onto the top of the mid-section and when you set your lid in place it props your ET-73 out about 2 inches away from the surface.

I took a piece of 2x4 about 6" long and mounted the remote to it. I then screwed an eye hook into the top of the piece of wood. I bought a magnet with a hook on it, and attach the magnet onto the side of the WSM. I hook the block of wood onto the magnet. I like this modification because it allows me to easily move the remote to any location on the WSM that I want.
