Has been discontinued by the company. Didn't generate enough revenue to last. We really liked it. Sad.
Anyone have any experience with the Zip-Loc hand pump version? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Chris Allingham, Pat Barnes |

Pat,
Same thing happened to me--found out when I sent the wife to Walmart to score some bags to put up six-butts-worth of pulled pork. She came home with the Zip-Loc bags, and we gave them a go. I have been disappointed in the Zip-Loc's. Everything went fine on the front end, but as we are retrieving pork from the freezer, I'm finding that most bags have lost their vac-seal and have a good bit of air in the bag. Read some of the reviews on Amazon...seems like a common problem. On the plus side, the bags seem to hold up to water bath reheating better than the Reynold's bags Kevin H. hot-rodded 22.5" OTS, 22.5" red Master-Touch, Smokey Joe, WSM, Q200 |

I'm having the same problem with the Zip-Loc
bags holding a seal. I was thinking of putting a piece of freezer tape over the valve to see if it would help Dave B |

i've been mostly pretty pleased with the ziploc. given their cost i think it's a real effective product for medium-term storage.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess we'll try the Zip-Loc pump. Really liked the Reynold's,especially for the ability to open and reseal easity. greta for things like cheese and sliced lunchmeats.
