A while back there was a thread here were folks talked about connecting a larger tank or refiling the small ones on there Performer grills. Some said they only got 4 or 5 lights, others so many they were not concerned by it. I only get a few and I have just discovered it all depends on how long ago I last used it. The valve must be leaking, or the bottle connection. I'm trying some tests now but I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

The best way to test for gas leaks is to mix up a batch of soapy water and spray it anywhere there might be a leak. If you see bubbles growing then you have a leak.
