I picked up a (slightly beat up) red OTS this weekend off of CG and was surprised to see that it had a J (denoting 1987) stamped on the vent... I wouldve thought a grill from 87 would be a bar B kettle.... anyone know when the switch to the OT cleaning system was made? just curious... this kettle has seen better days.... has some solid paint chips,etc which is too bad cuz its showing almost no red color fade on the lid...will fix it up as best i can and put it to good use...
