CoolThe mrs. Was nice enough to order me an RK….looks like the mothership will be landing Monday….any advice from you long time uses of the RK?

Its a great piece of equipment but does take some getting use to. Do a search under "ranch kettle" and you'll probably pick up some tips. I've had one for about a year at a vacation home so i haven't used it a great deal myself.

I have seen comments that it didn't require as much fuel as many thought. It has excellent heat control, seals well and the bottom vents are very funtional.

I use an empty plastic 1.75 liter liquor bottle with the bottom cut out to scoop out the aches after they've cooled.
