Just wondering if the parts of The current one-touch grills are interchangeable with the old "metal handle" Bar-B-Kettles - i.e. would a one-touch lid fit on an older bar-b-kettle base and vise versa? Just curious if Weber changed the sizes at all, or if they're still the same.

I believe the base and lid have remained the same size for many, many years. Why change all the molds? But I do believe that they've made changes to the configuration of the parts that get welded to the base and lid. For example, I don't think that you can convert an older Bar-B-Kettle grill into a One Touch just by buying the parts. They won't attach and fit properly.
