HI got this from another board . I figured I would pass this along.

"I received an email from a general posting that Don Thompson lost his battle with cancer August 4, 2009.

I do do not know if anyone else has posted this. His family will be continuing with his work. Don was working (don't know if he finished it) on a version that would work with Webers Ranch grill.

Again, I apologize if this has been posted before."

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

It is always very very sad news when i hear that someone lost his/her life to cancer.

I dont know Don but i sent him an e-mail with question about the product towards end of july and he seemed like a very nice person and was always willing to help.

I am sad to hear that he passed away Frowner

May God be with his family through this difficult time and I pray that he is in a better place now.
