It's pricey, but it arrives very quick and is as advertised.
I cranked up the performer to high temps, installed the grate and slapped some London Broil on............ Grill Marks are fantastic and very Quick....... I'll post more when I've got some history with maintaining it (i.e cleaning seasoning), but it's a joy right out of the box. Couldn't agree more. I'm on my honeymoon with this thing. I grill 4-5 times a week all year long. I'm in the moist Pacific Northwest as well. I'll post more once I settle into a pattern of Grill/Clean/Season. I didn't think it would be, but it's very different with a cast Iron grate. Hard to explain, except to say, with the way CI retains heat, it seems more aggressive.
The grate does the work instead of the fire. WSM 22.5 OTS SJS Performer |
