I'm having a real tough time finding a premium vinyl cover for an older Performer with the stainless top. It appears they've been discontinued. Anyone else run into this problem? Does anyone know which other Weber covers will work and fit decently?

I "gasp" cut the ends off mine and bought a new model cover. I then just put the plastic caps on the ends. Looks stock. The only difference in the old and the new cover is the length of it to go over the long arms.

My grill is used so much, I doubt it will have historical value in the long run.

I just found this on Amazon ...

I think that it's the cover for the older model Performer

Bob,

With the "handles" or "arms" removed, how easy is it to maneuver?

Hello there. I just bought a cover for my Weber stainless performer from Weber, called them about 2 weeks ago. It fits perfectly. Give them a call.

Jered -

It is easy to move. However, I must admit, it usually doesn't get moved.

Tom
If you don't mind my asking, what are they charging for that?

Sorry Jeff, I haven't been active on the post. To be honest, I can't remember! I will check.
