Hey all - I'm in negotiations with a craigslist seller for a Performer. This is the one without the charcoal bin and no gas assist.

Anyway - I'm trying to figure out if it'll fit in my vehicle. Would any of you performer owners be able to measure the height of your performer without the lid on? The official weber specs say that the height is 40 inches, and my estimation is that the lid adds about 8-10 inches to the height.

Is that accurate?

Thanks!

What kind of car do you have? I've dragged home a couple Stainless performers and a #2 La Caja China in the back of my Gen 1 Honda CRV (not at the same time, but you get the idea!)rear seats down.

Hah - that's funny. I have a Gen 1 CR-V as well :-)

I'll be picking it up this afternoon, so it's good to know that it'll fit!

Thanks!
