so i'm getting into using lump in my sjs and i'm finding that left over pieces can be reused. my question is how small does the piece have to be before ya'll throw it away ? i'm down to less than 1" square before i toss it.

Anything that falls through the Double grate mod, after a stir or shake, gets tossed with the ashes. Otherwise I just reload new on the old.
