Greetings-
I'm purchasing a Rotisserie accessory and charcoal baskets for my weber charcoal grill. I was wondering what size drip pan would I need to purchase that would fit with the baskets. I'm looking at the 13" x 9" large drip pans from Weber. Would this be to big, or should I go with the smaller pans? |

Which rotisserie did you get? I suggest you get an EZ-Que if you didn't order it yet....

I don't bother with purchasing drip pans. (I don't always use one.)
Because drippings run around whatever you are rotissing then drip from the bottom you can use a very narrow pan. I simply fashion one of the appropriate length out of HD foil, often about 3 inches wide, and that's it. The only issue here is for items that have distinct protrusions--like chicken wings that are untrussed. Either truss or--what I do--remove the wing tips before loading the spit/cradle. A narrow pan allowsyou to cheat the coal baskets quite close together, if desired, useful when crisping/coloring is in order. Kevin |

Sam's sells 13 X 9 foil pans for around 8 to 10 dollars, with 30 to a package. Around .30 per cook and easy cleanup. Just my .02 worth.

Eric, Those are the correct size pans for a 22 1/2" kettle using the baskets. I think they are still on sale on Amazon, like $5.99 for a pack of ten. They used to run about $15.99.
