So do you marinate a child before cooking, or do you just apply rub?

Seriously, beautiful grill. Congrats!

Great grill. I've got one and you'll enjoy it. Also, really cute pics of the kids. In the "old days" if you had taken them with film and then taken them to a store to be developed, you'd probably have had a visit from Children and Family Services Smiler.

What does it take to fire up a Ranch Kettle, an 18-lb bag of Kingsford? You could grill a whole hog on that thing!

Great for family gatherings, I'll bet, but not something to fire up for a couple of burgers.

Years ago, we had a neighbor across the street that used to give his kids lawnmower rides! He would let his kids stand on the deck of the power mower and hang on to the handle as he mowed the lawn. Yes, it was running!

On the contrary, I've used my RK far more often to grill for two people than 20. I use the same chimney full of coals to grill two steaks that I used on my 22 1/2" Platinum. But now I can grill for a crowd or lay full racks of ribs out. I like the flexibility. My only regret for giving my Platinum to my Dad is that I no longer have a rotisserie for my charcoal grill.

I'll take my 5 year old for a ride on the tractor, I make her stand between me and the steering wheel, no way in hell I'd let her stand on the mow deck where she could fall off.

While it may seem ridiculous to you, I think I would give the teacher a call. I've been a school board attorney for 36 plus years in Florida and teachers do have some very strict reporting requirements.

The pics are obviously cute and harmless ... but ... hope I haven't spoiled anyone's fun Frowner.

I have had my RK since February '06 ( I bought myself a brithday present for my 40th) I use it 3x a week and think it is the greatest grill there is. I did 30 burgers on it at once for my wifes classroom yesterday..great to be able to do all that meat at once.

Houston, we have a problem . . . I need one of these! These are the first pictures of the RK I've viewed. What an awesome grill! OK, time to tell the SO I'm giving myself a Father's Day gift (she just got me the OTG this week for Father's Day).

Major "grill-envy" here Dave! Great pictures. Also, do you brine your small children prior to grilling or go no brine. Just kidding, bad joke I know.

Thanks for the pictures.

Baba Booey to you all!

How big are the holes in that top vent? They look bigger than whats on my kettle, thats for sure. Looks like your sons toe could stick out of it.
