Last night I pulled into the Orange Big Box in my home town to look at the Gold series kettle to see if I liked the ash catcher....if not I was probably going to buy the silver version. The Silver was priced at 84.xx.....sitting right next to it was the gold version at 90.xx ?????? I bought it. Is'nt this grill supposed to go for 130.00-140.00 ?? There was no clearance sign....just the regular price they stick on the rack.

I think their mess up was your good luck. Never heard of a Gold that low.

Tom, what city are you in? I saw this on Fatwallet that this price was at a Home Depot. Some can find it but some cannot.

Should anyone be close enough to pick one up ....... I am in the Minneapolis area. I would assume all Depot's in the area would be the same ???????

Does the Orange Big Box = Home Depot?

I called every store near me and nobody has them at that price.

Hi ariel b..............yes Home Depot is where I found the 90.79 price. From what I have heard, this may be a regional pricing thing. I would bet that the Home Depot locations in the Minneapolis area are all the same at 90.79. Why, I do not know.......made me happy though. .....I'll be putting it together tonight

Good find! This price has been around for quite some time and I'm thinking now that the people that have been finding them live in places where it might snow or something. I searched all over for that thing. Guess I'll just wait around till I can find that price out here.

Here is the original thread on fatwallet

I bought a One Touch Gold a few years ago for $65 at Home Depot. It was a display model that had a dent where the handle meets the lid.

Still going strong after 3+ years!
