....Well I had posted an article awhile back on getting a cart made for my one-touch gold..I loved the performers but they were to damn expensive here, they would run like 399 plus tax and shipping fees..In any case I found one brand new from a local store assembled and 100%
perfectly working, tested the one touch gas and all is OK, I scopped it up for 260.00 Canadian taxes included and no labour work it was all done....I had to get it, so I sold my one-touch gold on craigs list and upgraded to the new guy here....I am very happy, the whole unit with the table and lid holder, just great.I couldn't ask for anything better...I did a test an put the rottiserie adaptor on as well.....it's fantastic.

And now you know why it is not the initial cost it is the life long benefits. Quality has no equal.

All I can say is if you love your performer as much as I love mine then you will never regret it. Mine cost $729.00 Australian which is about the same in Canadian Dollars. I have no regrets just praise.

Regards

Spiro,

Congratulations! I've recently been considering "downsizing" from ranch kettle to a new performer. I miss my rotisserie attachment!

I paid more for my performer than I did my gasser and I have no regrets! I would wax it like my car if I could, I love it! Ace Hardward has them on sale for $299 with free shipping to store if anyone is interested in one. Assembly takes only 45 min. I got an even better deal because Miller Brewing Co. was offering up to a $75 rebate this past summer on the purchase of a grill, and this qualified. I am tickled.

Boys.I will be beta testing tommorow afternoon! Smiler. I have 3 x 1.5" priime ribs and 4x1" T-Bones that will be getting done. Phil you are absolutely correct, because I calculated the wood/materials and the labour/time involved in making a kart for my kettkle, and I was very close to almost 150.00 taxes included, so Instead of busting my testies with this I figure better paying another 100 bux anad everything is up and dandy and ....factory made. Thats pretty much my reasoning of the quality factor

I love this Grill......I did my testing earlier and its awesome, used the gas to light up and had a full chimney stack, I think the gas system to light the coals is better then the parafin starters, there was no residue. Not to much smoke as well. The table and the side aside lid holder are awesome! The tool holder on the side is excellent as opposed to that crappy thing you buy for the one touch gold which prevents the lid to close 100% properly and always does manage to detach it self even if you squeeze those ends it will somehow still fly off.....this performer has got to be the best toy I got this summer! Smiler
I reccomend it highly. if someone needs a grill .......my advice is don't cut corners save you money and buy a Weber Performer it's the best way to go..they rock.......forget the other kettles.
