Hi guys,

I just had my first cook with my EZ Que rotisserie. I cooked two 3+ lb whole chickens. I drizzled them with Olive oil and rubbed them inside and out with KC Masterpiece Steak seasoning. I cooked them indirectly with coals on both sides and a drip pan underneath for about 1 hour and 15 mins. I added some oak chips immediately after putting the birds on.

Honestly, these birds came out perfectly. They were juicy, tender, had a great smokey flavor, and crispy skin. The EZ Que has lived up to its reputation. It was extremely easy to set up and use. My wife, who is my biggest critic, also agreed that it was the best chicken that she has ever tasted.

Thanks to all of the posters who reccommended this product. It really is worth the extra $$.

Derek,

Glad it turned out so good. I love my EZQue.

BTW, I used to live in Thornton, PA and my daughters went to West Chester schools. Love the area!

Hi Ray,

Thanks for the kind words! We love this area as well, although I'm sure that NC is the place to be from January to March!

I'm thrilled to have another solid grilling/barbeque tool, and the people at EZ Que are great. It's great when you run into a company with a great product and great customer service, and it really was easy to use.

I think that I am going to try a Beef Ribroast for Father's Day. I'll have to perfect getting my temps lower on my kettle. I'll let you know how it turns out. Regards.

Derek

Derek,

Let me know how you seasoned it and how it turns out.
And yes - the winters here are much better!

I cooked a pair of chickens on my EZ-Que for Mother's Day. They came out great. I seasoned one with a John Henry Rub called "Tammy's Herbal Rub." It's my favorite for chicken. The other one was seasoned with Emeriel's seasoning.

I love my EZ-Que.

Hi Bill,

Those are some good looking birds. Have you tried a turkey in the 6" cradle? I'm thinking of brining a small turkey and rotissing it, but I'm wondering if I need the larger cradle for it. Anyway, great pics!

Thanks. They was tasty, too. I've done turkey on my EZ-Que many times, but that's an 8" cradle not a 6".

Here are two turkeys that I cooked on my gas grill.

And here's a turducken I did on my kettle.

I gotta admit, I love my EZ-Que.

Bill
