I just finished putting together my new Performer. Though I think I'll miss the old one's classy stainless worktable, the raised cooking height of the new one is reason enough to move to the new model. I was hesitant to purchase it, and searched tirelessly for 3 months or so to find a "like new" "old Performer" with no reasonable success. After 10+ years with the old blue Performer, I'm certain the new black one will "perform" as well. Just wanted to say THANKS to all of you who suggested the new model (about 70% in my estimation)and I promise I won't just lurk, but actively participate in the forum going forward.

I didn’t reply to your other post but after using the OTG the Performer is so much nicer.
