I have a red BBQKettle that looks to be almost unused but has some porcelain damage that the previous owner has painted over with red paint. My guess is that it's just some kind of low temp enamel but I'm not sure. I want to remove as much as I can from where he went over the porcelain finish. So is 0000 steel wool the way to go on this? Or should I go for some kind of mild citrus stripper? I basically want to get the repaint off the original finish and then do a better job on the chipped part. Don't want to do any additional damage. Thanks for any pointers.
