At least I'm pretty sure it's a Weber judging by the look of those wheels and what looks like a vent on the dome:

Came across this today and I was thinking of seeing if it was still available. Anyone know what it its?

Very interesting,
I'm gunna guess that the base came from an old gasser, like a mid 80's Genisis or an El-cheapo of some sort. Could also be a knock-off. Hey for $10 I'd go for you never know, could have been a Weber prototype that never made into production.

This link might help. Mac

I think it's an old Kingsford grill.
I had one like it several years ago, only in black.
Here is a newer version:

It actually was a very nice solid grill, and was even made in the USA, if memory serves me right.

It's more egg shaped than round. It lasted for many years.

Bob,
Looks like you nailed it. Did the lid have a hinge on it? I'm liking this design.

Mac,
No hinge, just a couple of short side arms that allowed it to slide back and rest, much like the Weber lid holders.

The one shown on CL looks to be missing its front handle, unless the back side of the lid is being shown.

Bob you were exactly right. The seller just responded to my email saying it was a Patio Classic. I don't really need another charcoal grill right now, but I was thinking if it was some old classic Weber I would pick it up. Since I'm asking my wife for a WSM for my birthday next month, I probably shouldn't press my luck by getting another grill for the deck.

Thanks for the info though!

I've heard a lot of great things about the Patio Classics! For $10 I'd be all over that and I need another grill like a hole in the head-which hasn't stopped me in the past!
