Hi Everyone,

I've got a few 18" parts that I'm looking to get rid of. Here's the story: I purchased my WSM 18" off of Amazon and went back and forth with Weber on warranty issues. The area between the bottom and center section was off by a little bit. The sent me a new center section which was off too. I called back and they decided to send me a whole new one. What I realized through talking with them was the screws holding on the legs were over tightened pulling the bottom rim out of round. Anyway, I kept the original assembly and have these parts brand new in box. I *begged* weber to take them back, but they just told me to keep them (actually they said "throw them away"!!!).

Here's what I have:

1. 1x lid (with thermometer)
2. 1x bottom section w/ legs (no ring no charcoal grate)
3. 2x center section (no water pan, door, or cooking racks). It does have the hardware for the water pan / cooking grate mounts though.

I'm in Dearborn Michigan if anyone wants to come and look at them. Price? Hrm... I don't know -- $30 a piece? I could ship too, but I assume it would be another $20-$30 for shipping?

Hi Martin, I may be interested in the lid. You might have seen my post "Top hat and Collar" in modifications. I want to make an 18 inch smoke sphere so please find out what shipping to San Jose Ca. would be. I will also send you an email. Thanks, Shaun

I may be interested in the bottom. The one I bought at a garage sale had 2" holes rusted through the legs. They are patched, but not all that great at sealing out air, and the vents are shot.
