I just put a butt on a few minutes ago. After I opened up stoker log to seet the alarm temps for fire and food. I was able to set the High and Low for the fire but not the food. When I check alarm for the food the two white boxes don't pop up to set the temps like it did for the fire. In the past it has worked just fine.

Hi Loren, the alarm for a food probe is triggered when the food temperature reaches the target temperature you set. Good luck with the butt!

Thanks Tom.
The cook is just doing fine but when I went to raise the target temp for the fire, the box is greyed out. I can't set a new temp. Anybody have an idea why? |

I just answered my own question. I didn't notice the "keep warm" box was checked. After unchecking it I could adjust the temp.
